My Concealer Hacks!

When concealing a pimple, first use a green concealer, then cover the area with a concealer that matches your skin tone perfectly. Cancel out a pimple’s redness by applying green concealer with a clean brush to only the pimple (not the skin around it) to avoid spreading the bacteria. Then, use a cotton swab to dab on a high-coverage liquid concealer that matches your skin tone to camouflage the pimple. Blend it into the surrounding skin and finish with setting powder.

If you find yourself without concealer, place a small dot of liquid foundation on the area, wait a few minutes for the formula to set, and then lightly blend it out. The trick is to wait until the foundation dries and thickens a bit (it will eventually reach the consistency of concealer) before trying to blend it. If you blend it too soon, the foundation will be sheer and rub off, leaving you with very little coverage.

Know what issues different colors of concealer fix. Peach shades cancel out blue circles or bruising, green hide red blemishes, and yellow-toned concealers correct almost all uneven skin tones.

Make your lipstick pop and prevent the color from bleeding by lining the outside of your lips with a fine-tip brush and a bit of concealer. You’ll be amazed at how sharp your lips will look afterward.

February Favorites!!

My February Favorites!

I’m constantly shopping for new products to try. Every month I’m changing up my products because the seasons are changing. Away with the winter products and now adding spring products! Now that we are in the middle of winter going onto spring, here are my favorite products that I personally feel work best in this weather change!

Featured image

Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion: I’ve been using this primer as a base for all my brides lately. It has a moisturizing formula, not a velvety formula, which is great for dry skin during this past winter season. It’s great for filling in creases and pores.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Liquid Foundation SPF 15: This liquid foundation is one of my favorites right now! It has a very creamy, buildable formula. Very hydrating for the time of year. Great for light to full coverage.

Maybelline 24 Gel Eyeliner: This gel eyeliner is one of the best gel eyeliners I’ve ever tried!! Hands down! It’s waterproof, smudge proof, budge proof, everything proof! It literally stays on 24 hours, better than MAC and Bobbi Brown. Soft, creamy formula. Very easy to apply.  Excellent product! I have this in every shade!

Stila Stay All Day Vinyl Lip Gloss: This lip gloss has been one of my go-to products this month! It has a medium-thick formula and stays on all day! It color payout is very pigmented. I prefer this over other long lasting lip glosses because it looks like you have a liquid lipstick on. It has a very moisturizing feel!

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in the Color Apricot: I’ve been using this bronzer on most of my clients this month! This adds an instant glowing tan to any complexion, especially right after this sunless winter season! It gives a peachy, champagne glow! Works well for all skin tones!

Tell me what are your current favorite products! Anything you love right now? I would love to hear from you!
